BTA-TEAM CAMOUFLAGE PATTERN REQUIREMENT: N/A

DESCRIPTION: Welcome to the fourth annual BTA - Memorial Day Volunteer Flag Detail! Come out and show your respect and support for our armed forces. ALL are welcome… members, regulars, guests, visitors, wives, kids, girlfriends, other family, etc…

OPERATION SCENARIO: We will be assisting the local VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) in placing American Flags on the graves of members of the armed forces.

LOGISTICS:

Please bring a 'stick' like tool of some kind, such as a long screwdriver or rod to penetrate the ground, so flag-sticks can be inserted.

Flags and cemetery maps will be provided.

Last year the morning started cool but eventually warmed, dress accordingly.

The grass surrounding the graves will likely be wet, wear appropriate footwear.

ITINERARY:

Morning: Volunteer your time!

Afternoon: Eat and go about your business.

Evening: Attend the BTA night op!

NOTES:

BTA members are guests at this event and are expected to act as such. Please remember to show respect to our hosts while representing BTA.

This is a cemetery and a somber event; there will be loved ones of the deceased present. It will not be the time nor place for horsing-around or goofing-off; those who lack self control are not permitted to attend.

EVERYONE who is not military past or present (future does not count) are not permitted to wear military attire of any kind. Be respectful!
